Welcome to PLP!
At PLP, our aim is simple: to teach strong English literacy skills to English-speaking children. We teach children attending local French and Swiss schools to read and write confidently in English, in a caring and structured environment.
But PLP is more than that. It is a vibrant community where long-lasting friendships are formed, and where families come together throughout the year at community gatherings. It is a supportive place where parents feel connected and at home.
Whether you are joining us for the first time or coming back, we look forward to seeing you soon.
The PLP Team

Playgroup
PLP Geneva offers welcoming weekly playgroup sessions
We currently welcome children from birth to around 3–4 years old, with a shared play space where families can enjoy a wide range of toys and materials designed for free play.

Literacy Classes
Literacy classes for children aged 4-12
Our weekly classes give children who are fluent in English, but attend a French-speaking school, the chance to learn to read and write in English.

Events
Meet other families and have fun at regular events
PLP is a place where you can meet likeminded English-speaking families and feel part of a community.
Testimonials
« I am British and my husband is French, so we each speak to the children in our own language at home. My son goes to Swiss public school. I wanted to immerse both children in an English-speaking environment and make sure that they are as confident reading and writing in English as they will be in French. Both of them love going to PLP. The activities are fun. Maxime knows all the letter sounds and can read short books in English. The playgroup is a chance for Antoine to be exposed to the nursery rhymes and songs I know from my own childhood and is also a welcome opportunity for me to meet other, like-minded parents.”
Sarah, mother of Maxime (aged 5, literacy 2) and Antoine (aged 2, playgroup)
